All venues offer a beginner drop-in lesson before social dancing. It's free with admission and the single best way to get started.

Partners rotate in class and on the social floor. Coming solo is completely normal — it's how most experienced dancers prefer it.

Shoes with leather or suede soles are often best, however, sneakers are perfectly fine too.
